One of Patty's strong suits is her knowledge of finance and mortgage lending. "If I have a buyer who wants to buy, I'll find them the money. I've had buyers who were turned down for mortgage loans by several lenders and I was still successful in finding them a good loan package. Lenders want to loan money, you just have to know how to match the right lender to the buyer's circumstances." Patty Skilken gives her clients personal service all the way through to closing. "I don't even know what "personalized service" means. It's either personal or it's not. I handle my transactions in their entirety, I don't turn them over to someone who, if they knew how to do what I know how to do, would be doing it!" Patty markets her listings aggressively at her own expense. "I dont have a budget when I'm trying to get one of my listings sold. IRONGATE has a very generous advertising allowance, but I still go over it every single month!"
